Parents often ask, at what age should they start bringing their child to the dentist?
We recommend 2 years of age. We really don’t get much done at that age but it allows us to show the child that they can have fun here at the office. We have them sit on mom or dad’s lap and show them the mirror. If we can sneak a peak at their teeth all the better.
We educate the parents on how to brush and what to look for in the child’s mouth. We can even tell, most of the time, whether they will most likely have to have braces or not.
